PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT
LMS Energy enables a greener future by digitalising projects in Scenario
LMS Energy ranks among the largest landfill biogas companies globally, operating over 60 sites across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. The company is leading efforts to protect the environment and address climate change, concentrating on methane abatement to reach net-zero goals. As Australia’s top emission reducer, LMS is estimated to eliminate over 4 million tonnes of greenhouse gases each year.
During the decomposition of waste in landfills, methane and other greenhouse gases are naturally generated. LMS’s biogas facilities capture this landfill biogas before it can escape into the atmosphere, effectively reducing on-site carbon emissions. This captured biogas is then converted into renewable electricity, benefiting local communities and businesses. LMS facilities produce over 600,000 megawatt hours of electricity yearly. Beyond building biogas facilities, LMS has also made strides by installing solar panels at landfill sites across Australia, turning previously unused areas into sustainable, renewable energy sources.
By digitising project information and processes, Scenario aids LMS in creating a paperless environment during the construction of the Lucas Heights Bioenergy Facility. This project, in partnership with Cleanaway, aims to convert methane emissions from a major waste facility in Sydney into renewable energy.
Scenario offers project teams a centralised platform for managing project data, granting digital access to all documents, information, and drawings, even from off-site. This capability minimises travel for collaboration, enabling remote communication, review, and approval processes, which reduces carbon emissions associated with travel and conserves paper typically needed for conventional document management.
About Scenario
Scenario was created from the experience we have gained over the last 20 years working with large to mega Projects around the world.
We first began in Hong Kong, working with major infrastructure projects and quickly expanded into the Power, Property Development and Resource industries across Australia, Asia and the Middle East.
We are fuelled by a passion to improve how projects are delivered and maintaining collaborative, long term relationships with assets owners. Our team is committed to always evolving our technology to ensure our product meets the ever changing needs of our clients.
