Scenario Digitises one of the Largest New CCGT Construction Projects in Asia​

CCGT uses both a gas and a steam turbine together to produce up to 50 percent more electricity from the same fuel than a traditional simple-cycle plant. The waste heat from the gas turbine is routed to the nearby steam turbine, which generates extra power.

Scenario will provide the project information management and collaboration platform enabling designers, contractors and the owners’ project team to engage in fully digital processes independent of their physical location.

This project involves personnel and companies located in many countries, as well as those located in the project location. Scenario was enabled on the project just prior to the FEED Consultancy Contract being awarded. The Project Director required all information, and associated processes, in place to drive best practice from FEED, through construction, commissioning and handover to operations.

In addition, Scenario provides a Project Controls platform to closely manage the approved budget, commitments and the ongoing forecasting, as well as the change management process linking the information management to the project controls.

The remote collaboration feature of the Scenario platform delivers well-structured digital records together with the ability to distribute, review and approve various technical documents and drawings as well as the various commercial matters and documents.
