Scenario Streamlines Government Processes for Major Sewerage Project
Sewerage systems are extremely important in keeping the environment safe from flooding and preventing the spread of water-borne diseases by safely transporting wastewater to treatment plants. As populous areas in South East Asia continue to grow, new sewerage facilities are being designed, planned and constructed to meet increased demand.
To help ensure continuous public health protection and preserve national resources, a major new sewerage system is being constructed in an AU$187 million project in South East Asia. There is a strong commitment to developing the system infrastructure to international standards.
Aptiv8, a specialised integrated IT Solutions business and Scenario reseller, demonstrated the value of Scenario’s Project Management Information System (PMIS) for this project. Scenario provides the project management information and collaboration platform enabling key project stakeholders, including designers, contractors and the owners’ project team to digitally track project status.
Scenario is also used to streamline contractors’ monthly expense progress claims. By digitising the progress claims in one dashboard, the time taken to process each claim has been reduced from 21 to 7 days. Scenario has a customisable workflow so the system can also be used for quality management, health and safety management and project collaboration.
The project is currently progressing to plan with completion scheduled for 2022.
